Amanda Hanova is an accomplished executive with nearly 20 years of experience serving nationally recognized voluntary health agencies and medical specialty societies dedicated to increasing access to affordable, high-value, sustainable health care for all. During her career, Ms. Hanova has developed deep expertise in business operations, managerial accounting, risk identification and mitigation, compliance, performance improvement, staff development, and adult education. She has served as a strategic partner to boards and senior leaders in both stable and turnaround environments.
Ms. Hanova is the Chief Operating Officer/Director of Human Resources for the PKD Foundation, a disease-focused, patient-centered non-profit that provides research grants and leverages government funding to #endPKD. In her role, Ms. Hanova is accountable for the people, process, and systems that drive the organization, as well as shared services. She oversees a business unit responsible for providing education that improves patient outcomes and driving revenue to support the foundation’s mission. Prior to joining the PKD Foundation, Ms. Hanova served in a variety of leadership and management roles at the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Association of Family Medicine Residency Directors, the Juanita K. Hammons Hall for Performing Arts, and the Ritz Carlton Hotel Company. Ms. Hanova holds a B.S. in Political Science from Missouri State University, a M.S. in Management from Baker University, and is Lean Six Sigma Certified through the University of Kansas. |
