Eric Gibbs is an accomplished business executive with over 20 years of experience in the education technology industry. With a passion for building sustainable growth models and ensuring customer satisfaction, he has a proven record of helping start-ups and high-growth organizations create innovative and successful go-to-market strategies within K-12 and higher education markets.
Currently, Eric serves as President, Americas for Ouriginal, a text-similarity detection software that assists K-12 districts and higher education institutions in safeguarding their academic integrity initiatives. Prior to joining Ouriginal, Mr. Gibbs served in various high-growth educational technology leadership roles at Aplia, Cengage Learning, and Turnitin. Eric is a first-generation college graduate receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia and actively participates in mentoring programs to empower, motivate, and provide guidance to students. He resides with his family in Chesterfield, MO.
