Melissa Lackey is president and CEO of Standing Partnership, a certified women-owned business. Since joining the firm over 20 years ago, she has evolved the company and guided clients through the challenges of doing business in ever-changing, complex environments.
Melissa works closely with senior executives in education, health care, professional services and other industry sectors to grow their organizations and build trust with those who matter most to their business success. Her higher education experience includes Ranken Technical College, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE), St. Louis Community College, Mount Marty College, Western Governors University (WGU), St. Louis College of Pharmacy, Westminster College and Piedmont Virginia Community College among others. Melissa has been a recipient of the Enterprising Women of the Year award – widely considered one of the most prestigious recognition programs for women business owners – and has been honored with the St. Louis Business Journal’s Most Influential Business Women award and was recently named a Leader of Distinction by the YWCA of St. Louis. Melissa also lends her time to St. Louis-area boards: United Way of Greater St. Louis and Gateway Region YMCA. She also served as partner relations chair for the Americas region board of Worldcom Public Relations Group.
