I am the Chief Operations Officer for Columbia Public Schools. With more than 20 years of experience in education, I have had various roles, including serving as a teacher, counselor, and as the director of the Hart Career Center, before I joined Columbia Public Schools as Director of Career, Technical and Adult Education. I also served as a Commissioned Army Officer, Operation Manager for Wal-Mart Private Fleet, and owned and operated a custom millwork company. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from Truman State University, a Masters of Education in Counseling from Western Kentucky State University, a Masters of Education in School Administration, and an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from William Woods University.

I frequently speak and present at the local, state, and national level for Career and Technical Education and as Independent Executive Director of The John Maxwell Team, I Teach, Train and Speak, and offers workshops, seminars, keynote speaking, and coaching, aiding your personal and professional growth through study and practical application of proven leadership methods.
