Scott Harold joined the NAIA in May of 2016 as the Vice President of Information Technology. Scott has held various positions within IT with Hallmark Cards, Inc., H&R Block and Ascend Integrated Media. During Scott’s tenure with Hallmark he lead such efforts as sales force automation and the launch of a b2b e-commerce web portal for Hallmark retailers. Scott led the effort to design, build and launch all customer facing websites during his time at H&R Block.
Scott leads the information technology department at the NAIA, which is tasked with supporting all internal infrastructure and systems along with all the systems necessary to support a national athletic association and it’s member institutions. In addition, Scott led the implementation of the NAIA’s drug testing initiative and leads the NAIA officiating department.
Scott’s background includes the areas of web analytics, business intelligence and all aspects of software innovation, design and development.
During his career, Scott has also participated in numerous industry forums and committees including PCMA, Forbes, and Broadvision.
Scott received his MBA from the University of Kansas. Prior to graduate school, Scott graduated Kansas State University with a BS in computer science.
